First trip up the Connecticut

Finally, after too long a Winter, we had a beautiful Spring day.  This afternoon we brought Enemy Glory up river from Old Saybrook, where she’ll be for a few weeks while the rail, mast, davit and other things are installed prior to delivery. She handled like a dream – I’m very impressed so far with how well she tracks – even in a strong current, and how quiet the engine is from inside the pilothouse.

We’re in the water!

We’re in the water!

She was launched yesterday and is starting the commissioning process.  Next week will be busy with all the details that need to be completed before delivery. We’re looking forward to moving in next weekend!  The process of learning her systems and how she handles begins!
